The Joint Commission for the Accreditation
of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO), American
Academy of
Audiology and ASHA specify the
need for all audiometric test equipment to be in proper calibration in order
to be used in the assessment of auditory function. The American National
Standards Institute (ANSI), National Institute for Standards Technology
(NIST), and Acoustical Society of America
(ASA) has published the accepted standards for the calibration of audiometric
test equipment.
AudioMed, Inc. has technical personnel to
ensure that your equipment is functioning according to these published
standards. We have the capability to calibrate, adjust and if necessary,
repair your audiometric equipment.
AudioMed, Inc. is a member of and employs technicians who have met the
requirements of the National Association of Special Equipment Distributors
(NASED).
