Acoustic Impedance Equipment
Acoustic impedance measurements assess the
resistance to the flow of energy through the tympanic membrane and ossicular
system. They also provide a means for measuring the integrity of the
stapedial reflex pathways (with both acoustic and non-acoustic stimulation).
